Remember your first flight?

I was about 10 years old when I first sat on an airplane
To be honest, I wasn’t scared rather I was filled with energy
my blood gushing here and there,
I was talking nonstop,
excitement level max,
I packed my bags way too early,
my parents laughing at me,
smiling all the way to the airport,
my eyes wide open,
everyone seemed normal but I wasn’t
I sat on the window seat.

It was time to take off
my heart beating fast
holding my mother’s hand
still smiling
3,2,1….
I was flying
I saw clouds dancing
brown, green, white, blue I saw
wow, what a serene!
flying so high towards heaven
I wish I could spend the rest of my life here.

Then we landed
my dad bought some McDonalds
we ate.
It was time to say goodbye to the airport
hope to meet you soon
again!
And while I sat on the car reminiscing
the amazing experience
there I was smiling
Again.

Tell me how was your experience. Excited to know your stories.

  1. I was young and had a three month old baby. I felt like I could reach out and touch God. I was so worried for my little baby. She was dressed so beautifully and on the flight she had a terrible bowel movement that came through her diapers also soiling her dress, shoes and even one of her little hand made quilts. I had to take her into that tiny bathroom and threw her dress away, washed her off and redressed her. I only took her home to see my family one more time because I was so nervous about her. She didn’t cry she was an angel but I did. I am glad you have a positive experience to remember. Have a blessed day. Love 💕 Joni

  2. I was five years old when dad brought me along to fly in his friends Piper Cub. It was a tiny, single engine airplane. It had three wheels, just like my trike. I don’t remember much about the flight except that my hometown looked tinier from way up high.

  3. My first flight went from Sweden to Spain. I was going on vacation with my fiance. I was 19 years old and scared. When we started, I called for help and at every airgap I called for help. Everyone looked at me and laughed and my fiance was ashamed of me. 😊

  4. With the thought or expectation(to be precise) that plane in which i was going to travel for 1st time might get crashed – I entered in, with this fear or exictment(idk exactly what😂) that if I survived the plane crash I will get a chance to tell everyone that how horrifying it was, but nothing happened the plane reached to its destination safely n life moved on..

  8. I remember mine, how I read the instruction manuals very seriously. I think I kinda adopt that through the years. I got videos of it. A rush of excitement haha I thought I was the only one. I also love the take-off and how the plane moves from left to right haha. ✈️❣️

  9. Yes! My childhood experience with flying was just like yours. But sadly now as adult I get more anxiety about flying by the year haha. Life is funny with things like that. To be a kid again!
